Wow! scary... just curious.. what kind of car do you have?

It happened with other cars before this one. Neither of which were fancy or expensive cars. Just happened to be a lone girl/woman in the vehicle. Right now I have a used mustang. Can't get a thing in the darn trunk.

The first time it happened, I was driving a twelve year old Chrysler tank belonging to my parents.

I'd never do it personally, but I could see a friend or a spouse putting up a welcome home sign or something....but I don't see a need to advertise it, but that's just me. I can see me sending a birth annoucement with pics to faraway family members, but again, just to family. If you don't know me, why would you care if I had a baby? If you know me...you know I'm going to have a baby....I'm not after attention so I don't think I need to worry about the mail man driving around knowing!

I never did birth anounsments with my kids.

I would never put it in the paper. Those people who know me don't read the paper, I don't read either, don't want to pay for it.

I just don't see the need to do it. Those people who know me will call me or my friends and ask them.

Even if it WAS safe to advertise the birth of a child, I still wouldn't do it myself. DH and I are just private people, when it comes down to it, and we don't want the attention.

But add in the safety factor, it's just a plain bad idea for anyone to do. Sad that it has to be that way.

I would put one of those giant storks out front, just because they're tacky. There is no better time to be tacky!

Um, how many baby's are born a year? And how many babies get kidnapped like that? I think that the odds are that your baby is safe. Stop worrying and live life.
