Hi!
I’m a huge animal lover and I was wondering if anyone could help me solve
my problem…
I have a dog who’s name is Elvis and a cat who’s name is Princess!
I’ve discovered that Elvis had worms, (is it possible that he got from other pets???)
so I want to my vet and he gave him a de-worming medication in a tablet form but he wouldn’t swallow it!!
I didn’t want to use too much force so I tried wrapping it with some sausage but he some how figured it out!
please help me!!
Tami

I use peanut butter! Make sure the pill is totally covered with the PB and that you have MORE than enough PB to make a glob. Take it, put it at the end of your finger (should be about half to a complete TABLEspoon full, not a scanty teaspoonful) and let the dog smell it. DON'T let them lick it off your finger, they'll find the pill. After they're drooling to eat the PB, take it and scrape it off your finger by using the backside of their front top teeth. Don't worry, their mouths will be open from the smell alone! The PB should sort of stick to the back of their front top teeth. From there, they lick it off, USUALLY unable to find the pill.
