Re: Article: What Money Can't Buy
I liked that article and it's true the peace of mind is sooo worth it. I am still far away and much work still needs to be done for me to reach my goals, but not having to live with the stress of 'pay check to pay check' is worth it!! He's considerably further up the scale, but I see what he means.

Re: Article: What Money Can't Buy
The choices money affords are better than anything it can actually buy.
The point above really resonates with me. I don't much care for "stuff" and while I have been known to indulge in travel and other exeriences, none of them mean nearly as much to me as the choice and degree of control money gives me.
It can't do everything, but it can do a lot!

Re: Article: What Money Can't Buy
I found the editorial very interesting and though provoking. I couldn't help to laugh though when I read the comments under the article here is one:
After all the bragging about what you can and can't afford. I am surprised you feel so threatened by 'dangerous initiatives like a living wage or health care for the poor.' Spare me the libertarian crap, I read these columns for sound financial advice. If I want to hear crazy political ranting and belly-aching I can go to the local barber shop or cafe. Or if I am truly desperate I can read the editorial section of the NYTimes or WSJ.
Guess you can't please everyone!
