Just for the fun of it..what's your favorite TV commercial?

I confess I am in love with the Geico Gecko! LOL! He is just too cute and his voice is so soothing!

For laughs I love the Yellow book dot "calm" commercial featuring the guru. He is so cool.

And for even more laughs the Captial One guys starting the band,
The Pillage People is a riot! When it comes to TV commericals Capital One has never convinced me to have them in my wallet
but they have come up with great commercials!

So do you have any favorites? Sometimes the commericals are better than the shows!

I like the Petsmart commercial with the little dog and his mangy little bobo toy. It's so cute at the end when they scan them together!

I have to admit, since getting a DVR, I never watch commercials anymore. Ever. I miss a lot of the good ones, but there are less movies I "have" to go to the theater to see, less new foods I "have" to try, etc. And I never let my kids watch them either - it's too easy for them to get sucked in to wanting everything.

I like the Geico Caveman commercials.

There's also a commercial for the lottery (not sure if it's powerball, NY, or NJ state lottery...) but there's a guy that's mean to his dog... then the dog sees a dollar, gets a lottery ticket, and then you see him driving by the man's house in a limo with several female dogs. It's amusing to me anyway.

Do you remember the Staples commercial where the day is sailing through the store to the tune of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" buying school supplies while the kids are morose? I noticed they use the song for the current one where dad hits the easy button and they have their supplies. I liked the original better.

Poundwise, it would appear that we have the same "taste" in commercials.

In fact, I was just watching all of the GetaMac commercials yesterday. My favorite was the the one where PC was talking about pie charts.

I'm with Jodi. We rarely watch commercials now since getting a DVR. I say "rarely" because every now and then one will catch my eye and I'll stop and watch. Recently one that I rewound and watched several times was one for lables! It had an old man and woman who accidentally had traded dentures! It was so funny!

I always love Citibank commercials too about identity theft. They're funny too!
