    Re: Free Money

Well to be trueful, I have only collected $3 for 2 surveys, the place was called surveysavy. Most the time, I take the survey but don't qualify. There is another one that sends me one a day, but only pays 3 cents per survey. You have to earn $30 before you can collect, so that is going to take a while.

You are right, I spelled it wrong. I request a check every time I do a survey and have no problem getting it within the week. My name is julie denski, if anyone else wants to use my name.

        Re: Free Money

Unfortunately, NJ doesn't give money back for cans and stuff like that. I am a member of a couple survey sites that have paid me, and consider it pretty easy money.

Pinecone Research is by far the best - they pay $5 for every survey you take. They usually send 1-2 surveys each month. The drawback is that they only take new members through banner ads, so you have to find a banner and click it to join.

I also like MySurvey - www.mysurvey.com/ - You earn points for each survey you take and the points can be turned in for money or items. I can also get credit for referring you, but I would have to send you an email directly from the site.

Another good site that has paid me is Lightspeed Research. I only make about $10-$15/year at this one but it's better than nothing. You can sign up here http://us.lightspeedpanel.com/member...register.phtml

Another place I get free stuff is MyPoints. I love this program. I earn 5 points just for reading emails, so if you don't mind reading emails you can make quick points that way. You also earn points from buying from online merchants through the MP website. www.mypoints.com This is another site that requires me to send an email in order to receive referral points.

Hope these are helpful resources for you guys.

If any of you have AOL, go to keyword: opinion place. There are surveys there that earn you money toward your AOL bill. I've done them numerous times and they pay $3-$4 I think.

                Re: Free Money

I consider anything that I make reselling items as free money. I purchase my babies clothes on E-bay (cheap lots) and then resell what I don't use out of the lot and the clothes that they have outgrown. I am getting ready for a semi-annual consignment baby/maternity sale right now. I expect to have $400-$500 in free money from that sale.

I also take surveys online at 3 survey sites and make money each time. It just takes a few minutes and the average pay is $3.50 per survey.

                  Re: Free Money

I forgot to mention in my last post. I consider any reimbursement that I get for mystery shopping as free money too. Or, a free meal. If I have to go through the drive thru and eat inside then I choose the healthiest options possible and share with the babies.

                      Re: Free Money

Just read the comments on recycling cans...what stinks here in MA is that when we buy soda or anything with a bottle deposit on it, we get charged for the deposit at the checkout. So turning in the bottles/cans is actually only getting out money back, not free money. They do it to encourage recycling, but it still P*sses me off. Luckily, I live just over the border from RI and RI doesn't do that, so I try to always buy that stuff there.

                        Re: Free Money

Online poker sites offer "freerolls", which are free to play tournaments that pay real money to winners. I once won $360 for 2nd place in one tournament. I have won tournaments that paid between $30 and $80 for each win. I would bet I won over $4000 in 2 1/2 years playing free tournaments. My first win was $.02 and second was $.03. I have now turned that loved of poker into a money making website that gives me free money for the rest of my life, as long as players who used my links to sign up, continue to play real money.

Last month was just over $700 in earnings...this month looks to be much less, only about $100 so far

                          Re: Free Money

I live in Michigan, but travel back home to WI every 3 months or so. DH and I stock on pop there, so we can turn in the cans in MI for 10 cents each (there is no deposit in WI). So, last time we were home, we paid 2.20 a piece for 12 packs of pop. When we turn them in, we'll get 1.20 back. So, a pack of pop only cost us 1.00! That is like free money, I think anyways.

Applying for credit cards is one of my favorite sources of free money. Here's a list of cards that you can earn cash or other freebies for applying - link .

I have an executive membership at Costco. I have several friends that do not belong to the warehouse (which is right next to my job). If they want to buy something there I take them, use my card and get the 2% back in my rewards certificate every year. We also go and buy food for the work week..same thing.
