Guys,
I've been on a huge money saving kick recently, but one tip I've found is for streaming services like Max (which is HBO's online service), if you go through the online account cancellation process, they may give you an automatic option to keep your current plan but pay less for a few months.
What I just did was try and cancel my Max plan, and as part of the cancellation process, they dumped me to a page that asked me if I wanted to keep the same plan for a lower price for three months.
Basically Max charges me $16.99 per month - they agreed to take $10 off per month, for three months, if I agreed not to cancel the plan.
I totally took it.
That's like $30 savings for two minutes worth of work.
