I always suggest you start with one store, learn it's policy, find some good matchups, and give it a try. Sign up for the stores emails, rewards cards, checkout their website, facebook page, rewards programs. An example that most people do not know. CVS beauty rewards of $5 ECB for every %50 purchased on beauty products is a program MANY couponer's do not sign up for if they don't buy makeup. The problem is CVS includes Toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and other items as qualifying toward that beauty reward. Many people miss out on rewards just because they didn't look at the details of it. I suggest you sign up for all the free rewards programs. It doesn't cost you anything! Hope that helps

I did this for maybe 2 years, started with CVS, added in other drugstores. I didn't do groceries much because we have very little doubling here and the food coupons seemed to still make the product more than the generic I usually buy.

Anyway, in 2 yrs of drugstore couponing (I drove by multiple stores all day long for work so I could pop in, no gas used that I wasn't already using), I had 2 HBA garage sales. Put something like Couponing Health and Beauty items in garage sale ad posted for free wherever your community looks for ads and you will be flocked with mobs of people at 7 am and wiped out by 10, lol. Each sale I made $700 profit, put it right in Roth IRA.

IDK why I stopped, got too busy I suppose. Matching up coupons takes a long time even with websites giving you the match ups.

I have to get back to CVSing because I did not hold back enough from the garage sales and have barely anything left. It absolutely kills me to pay for shampoo or toothpaste, lol
