I have a Sam's Club card. I got it before I had to move to a different area and now I don't have one too close to me. I used it for Meat, Gas, and spices because it is so much cheaper than my area stores. I do not use coupons (I know I should), and I only stock pile meat and tp (don't ask, a side affect of my childhood) so this is a good way for me to get good deals when I actualy have the money to spend (I work on commison, so I never know when I will have a "good" check)

I got a Sams club membership card last year. It was not worth it. The Sams club store brand was excellent but I did not buy enough to justify the cost. The non-members pay 10% more and with memberships costing as much as $40 you need to buy $400 worth of merchandise from them every year to make it work. With coupons I can always get things cheaper than I get at Sams Club.

I got the membership because people told me their gas was cheaper. Well their gas was horrible and HEB gas is the same price but much better in quality.

Their pet stuff and tools, however, were reasonable. Their store brand cat food has way more protein than Meow Mix (though still not good enough for my cats, LOL). I always wished I brought some tools from them when I still had the membership card.

i have a sam's club card and it is worth the membership fee. i buy bulk toilet paper, paper towels, detergents, fabric softeners, dog food, gatorade, cheap clothing too, etc. etc. there are other things there that i will not mention that i have bought from there. they carry a lot of things that give people many choices.

When I need to go I have a mental list of people who have a membership I can shop with.

Its not worth it for me.

Ah, yes, sakigt, we sometimes do take along a non-member friend to shop. Perhaps he ought to go in on the membership with us, all the moreso because he does not have a car and depends on us not only for the membership but for the ride to get there! But really, I don't mind helping out a friend like that.

Nope, no membership card. Most of the places requiring one are a couple hours drive from where we live.
