Pushup pops? Yiii. Are we putting these into a humid pressure sterilizer before pouring ice cream into them?!

When I had a fireplace, I would pack some dryer lint into 3 oz dixi-cups, drip wax into the mix and use it as fire starter. I think using tp rolls would be an even better way to use up things you normally discard. Almost everyone has some partially used candles around and most yardsales sell large candles for $.50 or less. I have been building fireplace fires since 1963 (we have a cabin in the Bitterroot mountains) - as long as you build the stack correctly (small pieces tented by medium pieces with large pieces in the back - remember to let the fire breath) one dixi-cup will get you a roaring fire pretty quickly - or in this case, 1/2 to 1/3 of a tp roll.

I do the firestarters for camping. They work well even if people look at them funny

We've used them to keep rolls of gift wrap neat and prevent unravelling
Covering with scraps of gift wrap, coated with Modge Podge, glue 6-8 together upright to hold Sharpies by color or flip chart markers

Apparently these are in much more demand than I thought -- people are selling them on eBay and asking quite a bit: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40

People use them to make art. I would guess that is why people are selling and buying them online.

But like a friend of mine mentioned, who knows where that roll has been. Do you really want to handle someone else's toilet paper roll?

You could use them for mini rockets or smoke bombs, heh.

We use them for campfire fire starters. After cooking up bacon, put a couple paper towels in the frying pan while the grease is still warm. Then roll them up with tongs, place them inside the tube, and then let them cool. We keep them in the freezer in a bag so the grease doesn't go bad. They light up pretty quick, and have the added bonus of making your campfire smell like bacon.

I've used them to store grocery bags neatly in a drawer and cut them in half to store crayons/colored pencils by color group at my kids art desk.

                          She-ra bracelets

My daughter found She-ra on Netflix and got hooked. 5 years old and 20 years after the show went off air. As with any kid her age, she wants to be who she sees on TV. So one day I was walking an empty role to the recycling when I noticed She-Ra's bracelets. I cut the tube in half and had instant She-Ra bracelets.

Now, I just have to figure out where to get a She-Ra costume for Halloween.

Pet Mouse House - I put one in the pet mouse cage everytime it is cleaned and she shreds it into a nest.

Paper Towel Roll Spin Off - ditto above with a paper towel roll, it is long enough to become a tunnel toy and nest material.

We still have a surplus of the rolls, and no, am not getting more mice pets.
