  • Habitat for humanity re-store

I had forgotten about this store, they have them all over. They sell working condition used home improvement stuff. They also accept donations. Just drove by and stopped in today. They have second hand appliances like microwaves and stoves. Counter tops and cabinets, couches, dining room tables, dishes, pots and pans, outlet covers and tons more. Really have to search through the stuff, but has great finds. $.10 for an outlet cover, $5 a small tv, $40 for a couch, $1 for a cooking pan. Have to remember to stop in every once and a while!!

They also often have new stuff that was left over from local projects. I have found some great bathroom tile at 90% off retail that I was able to use to improve a basement bathroom we were renovating. Stock seems to change pretty regularly, so worthwhile stopping by more than once.
