  • good advice from SNL

I am an avid Saturday Night Live viewer. I really enjoy the classic episodes, but i saw a nice one last night.

anyway point of the post is one of thier "spoof" commercials.

A normal sales guy comes up and says some stuff like, Are you having problems saving money? Can't seem to get ahead? Well, try my new book, for just $20 I'll reveal the secrets to saving money.

then of course they have the not-so-bright customers chime in...."How do i save money, I have to buy so many things."

The salesman says, here is a preview, Don't buy things if you don't got the money. "Don't buy if you don't have the money??!!"

--Yes, that's right, if you don't have the money, don't buy things.--
But what if I have to buy something, and I've spent all the money I have, can I use my credit card?
    --Nope--
What if I want to pay for something, but I haven't got my paycheck yet?
--Don't buy it. And now I'm even giving this book away for free. It's only one page, and says the same thing i've been telling you right here! all for free!---

LOL! look for that one, it was great.

That one was very nearly a classic episode. Steve Martin played the hapless husband!

It really is just that simple, but so few people get it. It took me almost 40 years to learn it.

Thank goodness I learned it at a very young age, about 10.

            Ha.... Still learning that one...
It's always a case of "I don't have that and I want to have it!!!"
            I'm a brat...
