  • shop for bread at the bakery thrift stores

i havn't been to one in years and decided to drop by the oro wheat bakery to see what they have, i found my favorite 7 grain bread for $2 a loaf with 1 free if you buy 2. i also added a pack of hoagie rolls for $1 and when i go to check out the lady tells me that i get a free loaf for every $5 spent, so for $5 i walked out with 5 24oz loaves - good thing bread freezes well.

I often get day old bread at Super Walmart. They usually will roll all of the day old bread and buns onto a cart and push it out into the grocery area. There is nothing wrong with it, and the sell it for less than $1 a loaf or a pack.

      LOVE the orowheat outlet.

Unfortunately, the convenient one by me just closed. There is another one I need to work into my schedule - I just need to remember it is there and hit it once in a while. Just a bit more out of the way.

Actually, the other one is by a Hostess outlet that I never went inside. I will have to check out that one too.
