  • Cost Effective Shaving Razors

What decent quality razors do you guys use without spending an arm & a leg? There are lots of good ones out there that have really expensive replacements. I need something that is decent and not ridiculously overpriced and therefore cost effective.

    Thanks!

I use a Remington electric razor. I think it was about $50 and I've had it for 5-10 years.

      * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
      * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
      * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I used Remingtons for years, but replacement parts cost almost as much as the razor. Switched to a Panasonic last year off Amazon and love it. Its a little more (~$70) but has been great and my wife steals it for her legs and likes it more too. Read reviews on Amazon - helpful.

Yes I have a trimmer / buzzer too which I have been using for years and years and subsequently saved me a lot of money. However, I'm a working professional now and I'm going for more of that look and therefore need only suggestions / thoughts on flat steel shaving razors thank you.

Actually, the razor is usually cheaper than the replacement parts. I've never repaired one. I just replace them.

I use a Mach 3. I don't like electric razors. The Mach 3 gives me a good shave. The blades are a bit on the expensive side, but the cheap throw away razors cut my face up and the electric razors give me irritation. At some point, my comfort has to trump the few dollars I'd save by not using the better razor.

look for coupons, alot of times there are good coupons that combined with them being on sale at walgreens or cvs are almost free. (couponmom.com) I do this all the time and have quite a stash put aside because I buy them when on sale weather I need them NOW or not.

I use old school double-edged razors. About £10 for 100!

Mach 3's gave me razor burn so by switching to the old ones and using an old fashioned brush and lather I have saved money and I get a comfier shave!
