Does anyone have a good, cheap and easy way to get pet hair off of clothes. This is a constant problem in my house.

Re: Pet Hair
prevention is the best cure, but baring that (and for the occasional hair) tape is pretty good, they make those cheap(ish) rolls of tape paper my neighbor uses them alot. (buy in bulk to save)
Me I leave the cat outsideno hair troubles, I think more cause she 'brushes' herself on the weeds and such than cause I don't have her on the couch.

Re: Pet Hair
There was a similar thread on lint recently. Masking tape, scotch tape, etc., wrapped around the hand, sticky side out, or even just rolling a piece over it. Small rubber squeegies work well on furniture, if it's embedded in the fabric and the tape won't pull it deep enough. Squeegie also works well on some carpets, as does a floor scrub brush used in a sweeping motion.
Our house is all off-white, and my dog that just died was all black...

Re: Pet Hair
I was under the impression that poodles were low shed dogs. While your labs, chows and german shepards are not.
Cats all shed. short hair isn't as bad (just because it's shorter). But let me tell you, the people who owned this house before us had 6 mostly indoor cats and the cat hair was everywhere. On the ceiling fans, on the moldings, etc.

Re: Pet Hair
For the house, the lint rollers are EXCELLENT for getting pet hair and dust off of lamp shades, ceilings, etc. Masking tape works of course, also.
To keep the hair off of tv and computer screens, anything with a static charge, a used dryer sheet works great. Just wipe it across.
Ceiling fans just accumulate everything. Anyone have tips on keeping them clean without getting out the ladder?

Re: Pet Hair
oh yeah, when we had our black labs, there'd be dust bunnies the size of small dogs in the corners after about 2 days (we had 2). We had to stop letting them come into the rest of the house when we had our first baby, we couldn't keep up with the hair.

Re: Pet Hair
I have 5 dogs in the house and accumulate enough hair to make another dog almost daily, lol!
Now for hair removal from clothing we do ebay so have several rolls of priority mail tape around, just wrap a few times around hand and pat away, takes all the hair right off! LOL, don't try this ON the dogs tho, they don't appreciate it a lot
