      You shouldn't feel embarrassed. My eye doctor was the one who told me I should stretch the 2 week contacts to a month, but I would've done it anyway even if it wasn't recommended.

      I am a little embarrassed to say that I wash/iron my work shirts rather than to send them to a dry cleaners, when my co-workers tell me it's like $1 /shirt. For me other than the cost it's a hassle to drop off/pickup clothes every week. As a consequence though, my shirts often fade much faster than theirs. =/
