  • I have sex for free!

If you have ever bought condoms at your local drug store, you know that they cost a small fortune. I found a simple solution to this. I stop by the local Planned Parenthood office where I can take home hand fulls of condoms for free. Am I too cheap?

Honestly, I don't think so. They offer it at PPH for free; I don't believe they explicitly say "for patients only". If there was a sign that said it was "for patients only" and you weren't a patient, then that would be cheap... BUT I most likely would do it anyways...

A box of condoms is > $10 and you get more than a box full at PPH.

    What does everyone else think?

At least you are being safe. If they are willing to give them out, then I don't see an issue with taking them.

That's what there are for. They will prefer you to take them free and USE them rather than to be too cheap to buy and not use them at all...

Now if you were using them for free party balloons, then yes, too cheap. Lol.

I have sex for free too. With my husband. Using NFP.

I say suck Planned Parenthood dry. Go grab handfuls and handfuls.

Not at all. You should use any and all methods to prevent procreation.

My husband and I are frugal here as well! We use NFP -- free, reliable, AND good for the environment! I love it!

Just remember that planned parenthood in a lot of places works off of donations from the public. So remember to pay it forward somewhere else if you're getting your condoms for free from there.

I agree with DumbSheila, use the condoms, it's better to be safe than sorry but perhaps donate some money later on.
