Found this app today that I thought I'd share with you guys: (iPhone)

    GasBuddy

It's based on user price submissions, and is pretty up to date in most cases - but allows you to search for gas stations close to you, and sort by lowest price if you want. You can even enter a drawing for a free $250 gas card just for submitting prices. Awesome.

I've been using the Poynt app, and just scrolling to see what the best price nearby is, and wished that I could just sort by price. Well with GasBuddy I can.

Poynt is still a good app though, because all the prices are automatically loaded, so you don't have to wait on user submissions. I don't know how they do it, but I've been using it for about a year, and only ran into a wrong price 1 time. Must have been a fluke because every other time, they've been spot on. (It also lets you search for other businesses, but I honestly never use those features.)

So want to easily save 5%+ on gas costs? Use either GasBuddy or Poynt, and see the prices before you head out!

FYI - both apps are free.
