Do you think it is worth the incestment to get a DVD player? I only have a VCR but all the new subscription movie rental places all only deliver DVDs. That means I must drive to get movies. Any opinions on the best course to take?

I agree that it's definitely worth it, and relatively inexpensive if you're patient and keep your eyes open for some good deals. (Our local grocery store sometimes sells them for $29-$39 - go figure!). And I totally agree with gakline...Was it Shrek or Shrek 2 that had all the characters singing songs american idol-style? lol

Thank you all. I am spending the weekend checking out all the DVD player sales. It seems the consensus is that it is a worthwhile investment
