Well I got on it because we at first wanted to wait. But forget to take it, so talking about maybe bring pregnant made me want another one. I loved being pregnant! I think I just have baby fever!

I second the book - 'Taking control of your fertility' mentioned by a previous poster. It is the BEST book I have ever read about the whole period, baby, no baby, thing! If I had all the money in the world I would buy it for every women out there! As I am getting married in May I was looking into Birth Control options and a friend gave me this book for Christmas. I didn't wait to open it, so I've been reading/studying it for a month now. How I can be 30+ years old and not know some of these things amazes me! I know my children will be much better educated then I ever was.

I tried the pill for a month and didn't think it was that bad, until I got off of it. I didn't realize how emotional it had made me until it dawned on me how 'calm' I was when I stopped taking it!

I know there is still tons for me to learn about all of this, but I'm amazed how simple it can be to know you are pregant just by taking your temperature everyday! Knowledge is power and I feel much better knowing I can just let me body tell me what it is doing by knowing the signs to look for. And trust me...they explain all 'possible variences' in the book.

So check out this book if you want to....I'd recommend it to ANYONE!

I've got baby feaver too.... but I think we may have to wait & see how dh's annual review goes.

I like being pg, til the last couple weeks when I can hardly walk.

I bought mine at Dollar Tree. I buy them there now if I'm quite late. I wish they would have had these cheap ones when my husband and I were trying to conceive. After TTC for about 10 years and 3 miscarriages, I'm sure I have spent a small fortune. When I'd have "problems" I would take another pregnancy test to be sure I was still pregnant. It's a good thing my hcg lab tests were covered by my insurance during the last MC. I had to go every other day for testing. If I had to do that with Home Pregnancy Tests, my wallet would be bare. Lol! I'm really glad that I don't have to deal with that crap anymore....for more than just money reasons.

I have to disagree about the book. No matter how much knowledge you have....if you are stressing over getting pregnant, and trying too hard, nothing you know is going to make you pregnant. Think about it...the majority of people (at least the ones I know) get pregnant when they least expect it, or aren't obessing over becoming pregnant. My sister just had her 6th child. She NEVER tried. As a matter of fact, she cried when she found out
about several of those pregnancies. We tried for years and years...I read the books....took my temperature....stood on my head....nothing worked. Until I gave up and just stopped worrying about it. Those are the times I got pregnant. Granted, three of those times ended in miscarriage, but at least I knew the key. Now, I have a wonderful (sometimes) 4 year old son.

I don't know if you should be frugal at this aspect of your life, I mean what's an extra test or 5 to find out if you have a living child inside you and you should be changing your lifestyle and planning for an extra? One a week doesn't seem extreme at all if you're waiting for your period.

Besides, if it turns out that you are pregnant, you'll have much bigger financial aspects to worry about than $30 for a test
