I just wanted to make people aware of this company who I’ve had the recent misfortune of dealing with. Having decided to back up my data to cloud I started the process of buying a subscription to JustCloud
Bells started ringing almost as soon as I had gone through the order process, because at every stage I was being prompted to buy extra’s all of which I believed to be inclusive. During the whole process my quote was always in dollars $59 to be precise but upon completion I was invoiced £59 which meant at the current exchange rate they took an extra £19.50 from my account.
Although annoyed by all this this I decided to download the software but this turned out to be a complete joke, it just wouldn’t work. I called the helpline to cancel my account (all within an hour of my order) after much wasted time on the phone I was told the account was now closed and my refund would be with me within 2 days.
After 2 days no refund, so I email to then be told refunds take 7-10 days. So now it’s been 15 days and no refund I’ve sent numerous emails but just get stupid responses. Now they’ve just replied to my last email to say “have I checked with my bank” Of course the bank has just decided not to give me the money they have not transferred…
So beware of justcloud if you are thinking about going for cloud storage. I ended up paying for another subscription with Dropbox which has turned out to be excellent for me.
