how do you find someone who doesn't want to be found?

Finally, after 6 months, I got renters evicted.
Now, to get them served, I have to find their physical address of where they are living. All I can find is a new PO Box.....
They have me blocked on facebook, so that is no help--and its set to private, so when others have searched they only see their names.....
Neither one work, so that is of no help....
family listed on their rental ap is either in prison or deceased...
in Missouri, the utility companies can not give me their address for final billing (which would be a po box anyway) or tell me where they now have service at.
Any ideas???

Neither one work anymore. They had been a good family then last year, they turned deadbeat.

Yes. I plan on filing suit for back rent and damages. However, the court has to have a physical address to serve them. They refused the one by mail (forwarded to their po box) so it has to be hand delivered now by the sheriffs dept.

I was advised to not serve them until after they moved out (per the sheriff dept), so they would not do further damage out of anger or retaliation.

A private investigator could find them for you. But, it may cost you a decent amount to do so. And, there is no guarantee that you will ever get any money out of them anyway.

Their refrences are now deceased. They worked for relatives, and they retired and closed the business. They have not worked since. The work number is disconnected, location was sold and dozed and I was told they think they moved somewhere to FL, but were no longer on speaking terms with the renters....Neighbors-no I talked to them...they said the only time they really saw them was the man--he would sit outside and drink....

Interesting....you mention court records....because, the court is also looking for them as well. All co-workers were family--they worked for a family business-had over 50 employees, but they either say they are no longer on speaking terms with them, or won't tell me......

I can relate to this but on a different situation. I made a fake Facebook profile and changed my name to a different name and use the surname of the person (who blocked me) then add his friends and family then add that person who blocked me on Facebook. I know, I'm foolish sometimes (and more of a stalker) but it works! Take note, I only did this to my ex where I can't really move on with my life and nothing more... But now, that fake profile I made on Facebook has been deleted (by me) since I find my ex a jerk and a waste of my precious time after a few months of stalking him.

I never said they had no money. They have it. I just need to find them, and find it, so I can garnish it.

Both sons were given brand new cars by parents for their 16th birthday. Husband and wife always have new vehicles. No record of vehicles ever being repoed. Yearly trips to Cancun, Alaska, France, Italy......Not just A yearly trip, but a trip EVERY year to each of the listed places. She has rarely been spotted wearing the same outfit twice.

They have bass boats, 4 wheelers, ski jets and all the toys, and after Christmas vacation the boys came back to school bragging they had each gotten a new snowmobile for Christmas.

They were animal hoarders-but paid big money for the animals--all from breeders, many animals were exotics (got that from the animal catcher who removed several from them)

Trouble is, the money is going for toys, not for the rent or credit cards. Since they got in trouble with the credit card companies, they now pay cash for everything, and I have been told they carry "wads" of 100 bills.


I am assuming it is coming from a family trust or something of that nature. Meanwhile, between their past due rent and damages, I am out the $13 grand.

I now know what school the boys are in, and what cars they drive (from stumbling accidently on the boys at a wrestling match--their names were on their letter jackets, and following them to their cars). I have a cousin at that same high school and she filled me in, but says they are very tight lipped about where they live and never have kids over to their home.

Yes, and they were fine then. In fact, they were great renters the first 3 years. It was the last year that they wend deadbeat. Rumor mill says he started drinking. Based on the amount of liquor bottles I have cleaned out of the yard, I don't doubt that alcohol was a factor.
