  • Flappy Bird

I am a big fan of IOS (and Android) games like Candy Crush, Zombie Tsunami, All Playfirst games ie: Wedding Dash, Parking Dash, Hotel Dash, etc., Paper Toss, all word search games, chess and a lot more... but there's one game that got my attention (I don't know if you guys are familiar with it) but it's like a craze and this game is called Flappy Bird.

I downloaded this game a month ago out of curiosity. Been seeing a lot about it on my Facebook news feed, became one of the hottest trending topic over the net and such. At first, I wasn't that amused by it... after I scored 2, I gave up... then later on I find that simple game very challenging (but not to the point that I freak out and get mad whenever I die on the game) then I got hooked.

A month later, I learned that the developer of Flappy Bird decided to put the game to a halt and those who did not have the chance to install the game on their gadgets will never have a chance to get it anymore.

Now lately, I noticed that those people who have Flappy Bird installed on their gadgets has this power to sell their gadgets on a bigger value just because they have Flappy Bird installed on their gadgets - this got me thinking, is the game really that addicting to the point that other people will spend big amount of money just to have it? Just wondering... I have nothing against the game (I love it and it rocks!) but I guess people sometimes are overrated.

Everyone has their differences and once a person gets hooked on something he'll definitely go for higher rates just to get his hands on it. Well, the answer is yes, at some point I got addicted to Flappy Bird and I haven't deleted it in my smart phone. But I never consider selling my smart phone for a petty like this or buying a phone with Flappy bird on it.

Well, if you have ever played Super Mario Bros, and you start the underwater level, the game mechanics are almost exactly the same. Except its a bird and it falls faster. Its also extremely difficult.

I purposely avoided the Flappy Bird craze, I'm too addicted to 2048 - try it!

          No Flappy Birds Thx >.<

But to answer the original question, no, I don't think there is a "system mover" app for mobile devices. Not even Angry Birds is that great IMO. Candy crush had its day in the sun as well, but I never got into that either. I think they're all over-rated, but that's just my personal opinion.

That said, I'm currently still playing Family Guy's Quest for Stuff (though I've never bought anything). I don't know what that says about me.

The trend a lot of these games share is paying for time. You can play for free, but when you get to a certain point, the game makes you wait to play further. Of course, if you want to pay money, then you can bypass that delay and continue the fun.

Candy Crush is famous for this: you get a certain number of attempts, then have to wait or pay to continue. Also Clash of Clans makes you wait sometimes days to do an upgrade...which can be bypassed if you would just crack open your darned wallet buy more gems!
