As to the fat and cholesterol arguements, i disagree. Most cholesterol is made endogenously by your own body not taken in through the diet. And, there is nothing wrong with fat. The real key is moderation and variety. I think we eat too many carbs of all types. I think if we think of foods in terms of proteins, carbs, fruits, veg, dairy and fats, and sugars it is easy to plan. I think fruits and veggies are free foods and one should eat more proteins. Then the rest smaller amounts to accent the diet. That seems easy and understandable and works for me.
I agree with you 110%. Some of the people I know with the highest cholesterol I know are on a fat free/ fake food diet.

My breakfast today was a salad with broccoli slaw, avocado, onion, tuna and paleo mayo.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, avoid skipping breakfast because you will not have enough energy to perform your tasks and you will have the tendency to overeat during lunch.

Yes I also agree with you. Healthy break fast is necessary for a good start of day. Don't skip your break fast at any cost. It energize your body and prepares you for tough day working. Eat healthy diet.
