Hey everyone, I'm not sure how wide a distribution this press release is getting, but I recently received it through my base. I know there are a fair few people in the military on these forums, so I figured I would pass it along.
Basically, Disney is offering one free park pass (good for access to all resorts) to each active duty or retired military member, to include AD Coast Guard or activated Guard/Reserve members. Additionally, these individuals may purchase "Companion" passes for up to 5 people (spouse, family, friends, whoever). Finally, discounts are available for Disney's resort hotels.
The offers vary somewhat between the California and Florida Disney resorts. In CA, the free passes are good for 3 days at the parks, and Companion passes are 3 days for the price of 1 day. Offer good through 12 Jun 2009. In FL, free passes are for 5 days at the parks, and Companion passes are $99 for a 5-day pass. Offer good through 23 Dec 2009.
For more information, visit this website, call 714-781-4500 (CA) or 407-566-6397 (FL), or contact the ITT office on your local base.
If anyone wants me to post the full press release I can, just ask... However, since it's a full 2 pages long, I won't do so unless requested. I hope some of you are able to take advantage of this opportunity with your families!
