  • I am looking for extra work

    Hi all,

I am looking for an at home job (telecommunting) which is not MLM or posting a zillion messages on message boards. Something legit, real and honest. Am I dreaming? I have heard of people doing it, but not sure where they got the job. I have about 10-20 hours a week in which to do something else and I would really like to utilize the time and make some extra cash, if anyone knows people PM or post here.
    Thanks!

Thanks Johansen8. Do you have any idea how much they earn per week, per month? And what do they do ?

Have you checked out chacha.com? You earn money by answering cell user questions. You register online and use your computer to answer questions..

You will only make about min. wage and you would be classified as an independent contractor...

              Thanks for your responses all.

Never heard of cashcrate, seems alot of the offers though you have to pay for, are you on it, do they actually really pay you after you sign up for those services? Not many services listed either, how often do they update them?

The other sites are also interested and will have a closer look at them, surveys are one way, but I actually wouldn't mind doing some actual work and getting paid for doing something, especially if it can be long term and build up my resume.

I just wrote on here to another person looking for a second job...I passed along these two sites -

Rent A Coder: How Software Gets Done -- Home of the worlds' largest number of completed software projects
                and
Elance | Connect with Qualified Professionals

The work varies, but there is a lot of different jobs you can bid on. I think that if you do a good job, people will often hire the same person or hire them on a regular basis.

Hi Jamie, yeah I saw that post in another thread, thanks. I have some IT background but not enough to make money from it I don't think. I have known about Elance for awhile, but it's not very stable, you have to bid on projects, but it could be some source of income. No matter, thank you!

Funny, I'm reading your post too Jeff Turns out there are lots of odd job options depending on what you like to do and what you have time for. Valet parking, pizza delivery, working at a store, teaching, some skill or trade you might know.

My problem is committing time for a second job and that leaves fewer options.

Russell, sure their are odd jobs, but I am not living in the US right now, thus my original post looking for something online that I can do at home. I have several skills just not very marketable I think.
