anyone familiar with visual basic / excel macros?

We have an excel workbook here at work that every time we run a macro command, this little yellow smiley face box pops up and says "macro is running!". The original author is no longer here and we were all wondering if theres a way to change the look of the box? Its done with visual basic but Im not sure how to begin to look for it... is it a jpg? i've looked through the visual basic macro codes but can't tell anything in there that may show where the command to show that little pop up window is coming from.

i'd love any help if anyone here knows programming!
