What is the exact error message? What is the name and extension of the file you're clicking on? What exactly happened when you accessed the web page above?

is it saying you need Adobe Reader, or Adobe Acrobat (which is not a free downloadable program)? Acrobat is used to create PDFs, Reader is used to, well, read them.

Anything made on Acrobat should be readable with Reader. Therefore, Reader 8 should have been the right answer. Strange....

Is it an old program? (I know you said you bought it, but bought it used, bought it eons after program was made...

I used to have trouble with kids games and some direct something or other, anyway the trouble was the program wanted me to have an old version, and I had a newest version......I dunno what if any the fix was...but the error message always said I was too old, like they never thought of putting in the error message 'your version is too new'

'your version is too new' - lol

if it's a PDF file (the filename extension says its PDF) you may want to look for FoxIt Reader online. it's open source so it's free. and fast.

                    hope this helps.

gee this is my first post.
