It is very difficult to get rental that allows dogs.

Especially since some towns won't even allow them as they are looked on as dangerous pets. So that will make this many times harder to find a rental. As a landlord, I wouldn't rent to a person with a dog, let alone a pit bull. Our rental is located in an area with a lot of young children and you have to be mindful of them first and foremost. If I rented knowingly to a person with a pit bull and it got out and hurt a child, I would feel guilty by association.
