  • Feeling encouraged!

Added up my balances today and I am below $70K owed on my credit cards. I have paid off over $4,000 just since January and will have my first card paid off by October. If I can stick to my debt avalanche spreadsheet without TOO many slips, I will have paid off $74,000 in credit card debt by July 2017. That's only 3 years away! When I started this journey, it seemed impossible that I would ever be able to pay it off, much less in 3 years. Thank you to everyone here for your good advice and encouragement!

That's awesome. I suggest you consider starting your own blog.

Awesome work! Hope you'll consider creating a blog to keep the lines of communications open and encourage others who are too frightened to make a start?

Okay I've never done a blog before - is there a way to do it anonymously? My husband is a very private person and would not want our friends or family to know how much debt we had! I'd love to share my experience with others though, it seems so hopeless before you really get started!

You can start one on here. I have one and its been super helpful! There's a blog tab at the top of the page you can click and that should lead the way!

Seriously? that's good for you paying your debt in a short time. Everyone should follow your step to pay their debt.
