I feel your pain. The best advice I can give is just to throw all the extra money that you can at the loan. Even a few hundred extra a month will translate into having the loan paid off years ahead of schedule.

My loans are technically four smaller loans but I can't just make a payment on one of the smaller loans. I can only make the one lump payment for all four. I have to write a check to send and indicate I want it applied to principal only. If I do a payment online then they put it towards interest first then principal.

you should be able to indicate your payment to each individual loan I would say contact our loan provider and find out there are two ways to pay them off then the highest amount and highest interest rate or the lowest amount and highest interest rate the last one will give you the confidence boost you need to attach the rest of the loans. I did something different personally but it is definatly beneficial to give yourself that confidence boost.
