Has anyone had any experience with Do It Yourself Debt Settlement? How did ity work for you?

Anything a DS company can do, you can do yourself. It just takes time, some negotiation skills, and patience. It's at least worth giving it a go on your own before enlisting help from someone else.

I do agree that you should not pay a settlement company 15-20% in fees - that can really add up! I believe that those that are clueless about the concept, process and techniques do need some one-on-one assistance and guidance - as well as a strong stomach and determination!
