    1. Transfer Balance to lower interest (mainly 0% APR for 12months) credit cards.
    2. Try to lower interest rate with your current credit card company.
    3. Make at-least little extra payment every month so that you are not aways trying to catch up on interest payment.

You should be as concerned about the car and school loan debt as you are about the credit cards because they are large debts with accruing interest. It's all debt, so it's all bad and needs to be paid ASAP.

You don't need a ring to get married. Marriage certificates are about $50. If your GF demands one, you shouldn't be cosidering marrying her anyway.

Take care of yourself and your bills and career first. You're so young, enjoy dating. But don't spend a lot on dates. The best dates are free.

First, what are the details of the cc debt?
Second, what is your monthly budget? Please account for the $1600/month you earn.
Third, do you get a tax refund?

You should be able to send $320/month to the cc debt (20% of your net earnings) each month. If you are not sending this much, you need to look at your budget.

What are the terms of your car loan? Amount financed, interest rate, and length of time left until paid off.

What are the terms of your student loan?

Is it just me or do some of the Op's that post threads here seem to just vanish into thin air. Were they hoping for a magic trick or something? Is the challenge of escaping debt too terrible to read about?

I've noticed this, too. I think they read the forums, post their situation, only to see the responses are similar to situations they already read about on the forums. I guess they think theirs is different or that someone will tell them where the special money tree is?
