I hope this is okay to post here. I used to have this recipe that had rice, cheese, brocoli, celery and other stuff in it. it was a casserole. Does anyone know how to make it?

I looked on allrecipes.com for you. Try that site, it's great! All you have to do is go to the search option, do an ingredient search, fill in the foods you want or don't want, and it will come up with recipes for you. Do these recipes sound kind of like what you are looking for?

no, neither of those is it. Thanks for looking though. It was a recipe someone gave me years ago and I don't think it came out of a cookbook. I lost it and really wanted to cook it again and I can't remember who gave it to me. bummer.Comment

If it is the one my mother makes I can get it for you. It used broccoli, cheese whiz, cream of mushroom soup, celery etc. Sounds gross but oh my god, oh so good!Comment

Here it is...
BROCCOLI CASSEROLE
1 1/2 cups minute rice dry fixed like directions
1 can mushroom soup
1 8oz. jar chez whiz
1 pkg. chopped broccoli, cooked slightly
Saute: 1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
Mix all together and bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degreesComment
