Any uses for tuna juice?

    Some people might gag at this, but when I was a poor struggling college student I used to save the tuna juice (from water packed tuna) and add lemon pepper spice (or a squirt of lemon juice) & a bit of salt to it and use it as a low cal salad dressing on salad greens. It's actually pretty good - but you have to like the taste of tuna fish. I haven't tried this with oil packed tuna but I'd bet it would work well. (I'll try this at lunch tomorrow and report back.)

    Any uses for tuna juice?

    Are there any uses for juice drained from cans of tuna? I just don't like tossing it. Has anyone used it mixed with water as fish broth? I'm not a very picky eater, so I'm willing to try some things others won't, but I don't want to eat something that's just plain bad.

    Any suggestions appreciated. (I don't have pets, by the way.)
