I heard the perfect advertising campaign today for cereal if you really want to get ripped off. They were explaining how "less was more" in that a smaller portion was healthier and more nutricious for you. Of course, this new healthiness cost the same as their previous bigger sized individual packets. So you pay the same amount for less and this is supposed to be good for you. You have to hand it to advertisers. When you're shopping, pay close attention to price per unit as I'm sure this trend will continue.

Re: Less is more
Most people don't realize there's less in the bottle. They fall for the gimmicks that these companies use. It's called hidden inflation. People just keep buying what they normally do and pay the usual prices. They just now have to buy the product more often because they go through it so much faster.

Re: Less is more
Has anyone noticed that they changed the size of ice cream cartons? They used to be 1/2 gallons and are now 1.75 liters (or something like that). I'm not too swift with the conversion (which is probably why they did that!) but I can tell they're definitely smaller, and cost the same amount!!!
