I keep looking for the ideal garden gloves. I have worn out every kind sold in the hardware and discount stores. I go through at least six pairs a season. Leather and knit cotton-synthetic coated on fingertips and palm with heavy latex have been my favorites, but they, too, quickly get holes. I've worn out four pairs this year and must try to re-sew a leather glove tonight/tomorrow.
I need something tough and washable. They must do a fair job of excluding dirt from the hands.
I don't think I've tried kevlar gloves. Are they any good? Does the fabric unravel, develop holes, or the seams come unsewn? Just a gimmick and kevlar isn't great for gloves?
Is there a brand name you recommend? Please tell me there is a "Cadillac" of work gloves and that they are available in a women's medium.
