So Bitcoin is still the leader in market cap, but Ethereum sure jumped up there fast, peaking around 70% the size of Bitcoin. I think it overshot a little, because it headed back down this week. I predict it will start gaining back again at a more reasonable pace.

Do you think cryptocurrency is a good short-term idea? How about a plan B against the dollar? If you were to invest in cryptocurrency, which of the hundreds would you choose from?

Here's a link to my spreadsheet with Bitcoin and Ethereum historical data for easy number play, or you can download it off this blog post: Bitcoin vs. Gold- Better Currency? Better Investment?

Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies keep afloat smoothly until it is beneficial to the powerful of this world. As soon as the need for crypto-currencies disappears, they will be abolished at one point, and millions will remain without their money. Investing in them is stupidity.

Impressive conspiracy theory. Got any actual data or sources to back that claim up? Didnt think so.

They say a bubble always gets bigger... until it doesn't. I think cryptocurrency is a fantastic idea, but it is currently a speculative investment. I imagine almost none of the owners actually want cryptocurrency, they want the investment. If it actually begins to trade like a currency, I think it will do a lot of good to the world.

Investing in cryptocurrencies is such a risky way of investing your money. Some people consider that it’s the future of finance, but their opponents think that it’s just a bubble. But one thing that gathers all people is discussions around the cryptocurrency.

As for me, I think that cryptocerrency as a minimum can simplify the financial flows. Don’t be afraid of mistakes and risks. On errors you should learn, and try to control the risk. Today’s situation is difficult enough to forecast something without risks and choose great investment opportunities.

I think cryptocurrency investment is too risky. Basically cryptocurrency is suited for long term investment. we can’t predict future trading situation. So better you invest your money in different field.
