I started this savings challenge a few weeks ago and have been lurking on this forum while doing it. I think it is a great way for me to stay motivated to save money for emergencies. I have done nothing special to earn this extra money, I just pulled they money out of my checking after I paid the bills and got gas for the week. If I do this again next year, I think I will start at $52 and work my way down instead of using the Yahtzee method of pulling whatever amount available and crossing it off of the list.

Total: $136

I will try to post every week with my savings to keep me accountable
