I started at the high end and plan to keep it up as long as I can. Right now, after 6 weeks, I have $297 in my Challenge Account. I may need to skip around but at least I've got a few of the higher amounts knocked out already!

Week 4 - $49
Week 5 - $48
Week 6 - $47

I will do this while I can but I know that some weeks in the near future won't allow me to save $40+ ... so I will save some of the smaller (under $10 amounts) then.

Can I admint I'm a bit jealous of your numbers? I know this isn't a competition between all that are doing it, but you make it look easy and I know that it isn't...

Thanks, pinkroses! I did make my Week 8 deposit yesterday, in the amount of $45, for a total of $388 saved so far. Alicia, it's probably easier for me to save the larger amounts now because I got a bonus at work about a month ago, a good portion of which went to getting me started on this challenge. If I hadn't gotten that, I don't think I'd have been able to start with the high amounts.
