    Money Saving Tips!

You should always "Unplug" your appliances that you do not use all the time, such as, tv,vcr, stereo, dvd, ect.. This will help lower your electric bill. The power supply in the device is using electricity even when it is not on, while plugged into the outlet.

I bought a surge protector for my pc that automatically turns itself off when the computer is shut down. All the peripheral devices that I need while the computer is up and running have the 'vampire' dc converters so they all shut off along with the computer and fire back up when I need them. I hope to install these where ever it is practical.

            Money Saving Tips

Here are a couple of tips that we can apply in our own home.

            1. Scrap the "old-fashioned" land line and replace your monthly cell phone subscriptions with a prepaid plan is an excellent money saving tip. Just donít stay on your cell phone as long as before! If you have a computer, use your unique web page provided by the cell service to send free text messages.

            2. To save money, you must beware of convenience foods. Pre-made meals are fine in an emergency, but most of this kind of food is not very healthy and very expensive for what you get.

            Hope these help.

Saving money is good but sometimes you can't help yourself from buying not so necessary things that you've just while walking along.. I think investing your money is more effective than saving.. When you invest, you no longer need to save as your money will just keep on profiting and you don't have to worry too much..

                  Hello guys...!
Thanks for sharing useful information...There are so many ways to save money.... One of my most effective money saving tips is to shop for groceries at a warehouse food store, rather than a traditional supermarket...!

i got that right, when your home appliances are on standby mode so actually they are consuming electricity with some pace as it consumes on usual consumption.

Make large batches of breakfast/snack foods on the weekends, and individually pack them. Then, stick them in the freezer. Then if you're in a rush, instead of stopping at a fast food place, you can toss something into the microwave and be on your way with something healthy. This works great for things like breakfast burritos (scramble eggs with some cheese, pepper, and potato, and wrap with a burrito). Easy!

There are so many ways to save money - buy in bulk, coupons, only shop on sale, take advantage of thrift stores and yard sale, carpool, walk or ride a bike when you can instead of driving, unplug everything when it's not in use, embrace fresh air in your home or car over the AC, leave nothing on when you are not home, don't buy things unless you need them, don't use credit cards for any purchase, think about any big purchase for a few days to determine if you really need it... most of all, just be more mindful of your consumer/spending habits - enjoy experiences rather than the things you own.

                            Appliances..The big culprit

Yes Guys. The appliances are the main culprit in our huge electricity bill. That is why i always make sure that i switch off all my appliances after use. You also do that and see a difference.

Saving money is one of those tasks that's so much easier said than done. There's more to it than spending less money (although that part alone can be challenging).
