I while back I had a small company and one job we had was making the buttons for the cars (7 of them)for the movie Inspector Gadget. The studio would send a limo filled with trays of buttons and patterns, and I would make the imprints, bake them in my oven, cool them off, and take only the perfect ones, wrap them up and give them to the next limo driver. This was a fun job, I made an amazing amount of money in a short period of time, and the production company left all the "less than perfect" buttons with me. Some of them look pretty good, some are a little off center in their printing, most have some sort of minor imperfections.
I've always wondered if i could sell them, and if so how-singly, in groups or full sets? How would I price something like that, and would they even be wanted by collectors, and where would I go to sell them?
I know I have a lot of questions, but there are a lot of experts here and I'll bet someone has a good answer. Thank you.
