  • Errand service

I noticed signs up in town today for a new service. A man who works and commutes daily to the city is advertising an errand/delivery service. He will deliver or pick up items in the city and along his route for a fee. He charges so much per mile for car, so much more if it requires his truck and even more if a trailer is involved to haul it.

His poster indicated he worked on a cash only base. He will pick up and deliver library books (we have no library here), dry cleaning, craigs list finds, and if you phone in your order and prepay to the store, he will also make stops to Lowe's, Home Depot and other stores that are within a 6 mile distance off of I-35 or 435.
