  • Do you Yodlee?

I just spent about 30 minutes yesterday setting up yodlee for myself and I have never seen a smoother aggregator/presenter of financial information. I think I'll like it quite a bit. It's flexible, user-friendly, free and extremely useful if you like tracking your net worth, seeing transactions at a glance, watching your stock portfolio, paying bills online, etc.

    Does anyone else Yodlee?

Yes, I have been using it for few years as Chase Manhattan Bank has been using Yodlee for their Chase Online Plus service. I do not list my other assets on Yodlee as I do not want Chase or Yodlee to have all my financial information, but I have all my credit card debts and mortgage debt listed so I can keep track of my progress on repaying my debt. It's great to see the debt chart moving towards the zero balance and keeps me motivated to continue paying back as much as possible.

Yodlee is like crack. There is nothing sweeter than watching all of your different accounts at work. The former cacophony of my many accounts has been replaced by a beautifully orchestrated symphony which flows forth upon my computer screen .

            Quite.

Good advice for anyone regarding their money situation is to stop and face the music.

I had heard of it as in some financial companies offer their services. I didn't know it was free and you could setup an account with them directly. Do you guys have a link to the registration page and which particular product of theirs you're talking about, OnCenter ?

It is OnCenter. They don't appear to make registering very easy (the link isn't exactly advertised), but here's a link.

                Yodlee's OnCenter

                  Re: Do you Yodlee?

Wow. OMG. Wow. I LOVE it. I searched on their site and found that my bank (BOA) has a Yodlee system (or whatever you call it) called My Portfolio. I would say it only took me less than 10 minutes to sign up 3 ccs, 2 bank accounts, 2 student loans, and 3 investments accts. Now instead of logging onto each account separately at the end of the month to check net worth, I can get it anytime. Thank you so much for sharing this - it seems to be exactly what I have been looking for!

My only concern is that we maybe trusting them with too much information. Fidelity recently lost confidential customer data.

You have a point there. They have a hand in everything. Verses fidelity just knowing a few things about you.

Ditto. You can also include phone bills, airline frequent flier accounts, email accounts, and 401(k) accounts. Although kinda scary to see my whole financial world on one screen ...

                          Re: Do you Yodlee?

I use it through Wachovia. It is really fun, isn't it? It means I don't have to remember all the passwords for different sites. I just log into my Wachovia account, go to their Yodlee page, and I can auto-login to most of my accounts.

Only complaints: Not all my accounts participate. I can't put my mortgage on there, or my 529 account. I can manually list the balances, but they don't update unless I update them. Also, they really don't have too many rewards sites yet. I'm hoping more get added.

Yeah, I can't put my car loan on either as it is a small bank that does not have Internet account access. But I have everything else on there - I even linked my ebay and cell phone accounts, although I'm not sure what benefit that will give (I just got a little carried away, I suppose).
The downside: Now I can see exactly what my net worth is every day (lost $200 today - that's why it's a downside!)

                              Re: Do you Yodlee?

I've been doing Yodlee for a while, ever since the old days when they had an app on the PalmVII that did cool wireless stuff.

I used spend one Saturday morning a month downloading all my accounts into Quicken, but Yodlee has WAY more support including my rewards and bills. There rumor floating they have a big launch happening next week. I think I saw in one of the press releases.

I'm signed up through my bank, and I can't wait for them to upgrade too.
