Is there an easier way to input cash transactions??

if not . .is there a better software item.. that is good at automatic tracking and cash inputs ?
This is not an issue for us, as we use credit cards whenever possible.

Do you not trust yourself with plastic? Because using a rewards card has many benefits:
    • fraud protection
    • cash back on all transactions
    • automatic categorization of purchases

I use credit/debit cards for 90+% of my transactions but there are expenses that I have to use cash for .. I would love to know how much I spent on those and see if I can improve on those when I do a yearly review..

Personally, while I realize they have very good security, I just can't come to grips with ALL of my financial information being online. With major security breaches at some of the major credit card and online retailers, I would not want to deal with the possibility of having nay of that information being taken.

Also, from a personal standpoint and I like being able to manipulate and analyze all of my financial data on my desktop. Therefore, using a desktop-based application (or just Excel) is how I will do my finances until I die.
They have a desktop based program that they used to sell. I believe you can still buy it if you ask for it. it's a windows/mac program that uses dropbox if you want to use your cell phone with the app. It will eventually go away since they changed to a web based program but that might be more what you want.

Working in IT you would think I was more concerned about my online security, but really it all got tarnished when I got my card compromised at a local goodwill. I figured if I can have that happenthat easily, I don't care too much about the rest. My mom has had her purse taken from her work(dr office) where they went on a spending spree as well as her card compromised at a local business. Online shopping and online dealings are more secure than in person from my experience.
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you're stupid and make bad choices.
