    A friendly reminder that postal rates will increase by $0.02 for a first class letter beginning January 8, 2006. It will make a first class letter cost $0.39 to send. Some other postal rate increases that will take affect:

    · First Class Letter (1 ounce): Increases $0.02 to $0.39.
    · First Class Letter (2 ounces): Increases $0.03 to $0.63.
    · Post Card: Increases $0.01 to $0.24.
    · Priority Mail (1 pound): Increases $0.20 to $4.05.
    · Express Mail (8 ounces): Increases $0.75 to $14.40.
    · Express Mail (2 lbs.): Increases $0.95 to $18.80.
    · Certified Mail: Increases $0.10 to $2.40.
    · Delivery Confirmation (priority): Increases $0.05 to $0.50.
    · Delivery Confirmation (first class parcels): Increases $0.05 to $0.60.
    · Return Receipt (hand signature): Increases $0.10 to $1.85.
    · Return Receipt (electronic): Increases $0.05 to $1.35.
    · Money Orders: Increases $0.05 to $0.95.
