• ING Raises Saving Account Interest Rate To 3.15%

ING, after keeping their interest rate locked at 3.00% even while the Federal Reserve raised their lending rates several times and competitors raised their savings account rates, has finally decided to raise their saving account rate to 3.15%. While ING was once the savings account interest rate leader, they have now fallen quite a bit off the pace. Superior Savings Bank offers 3.5% savings with a $10,000 minimum deposit while UFB Direct Bank offers 3.4% with only a $1.00 minimum deposit and EmigrantDirect Bank offers 3.25% with a $1.00 deposit with the rate guaranteed through the end of this year.
