      Preparing for my next $10,000 i-bond purchase and just transferred the funds into my linked account that i used for a previous purchase from Treasury Direct which takes 1 business day for the funds to settle so before this week ends I'll execute the order.

        Way to go QMM - good work. I bonds are about as safe as you can get, and with 6% returns it's an excellent return to risk play.

          Purchased another $10,000 for 2023. The $10,000 from 2022 has earned $480 thus far, pretty good.

            I see the reportable proceeds for tax purposes generates a 1099-INT. For 2023, looks like I'll need to claim $704 to the IRS, not too bad.
