Anyone buying Gilead stock?

    Looks like Gilead donated their entire stock pile
    Is this going to be a financial drag on the business? Are they planning on monetizing it during the crisis ever or will just monetize it after the crisis? I also see a crash after FDA approved drug for emergency use, why? Questions you should ask yourself before jumping in.

      1) Full value of everything donated will be written off against other profits.
      2) Yes, they'll definitely monetize it going forward -- they've presumably got patent rights to it, so they'll be able to sell it to hospitals & governments around the world.

        unless we don't need it. maybe also if there are side effects they can hand off blame since they didn't profit from it.
