No fees and no minimums, yes. Highest savings rates, no.

This is there in their site description.

"Highest savings rates" and "one of the highest savings rates" are 2 different things.

Can accounts be opened for minors there?

Yes, open your account first with the $25 bonus. Then "refer" the account to yourself for additional bonuses of $10+$25 each. (You will need $250 for each deposit. The $250 can be withdrawn after about 3 weeks I think it is.) You open the accounts as joint accounts... Your child is the primary, you are the secondary.

I have an account, but I really don't love them. Their customer service has been good the few times that I had to call them, but their interest rates aren't that competetive. Most of my cash is in my IGObanking account right now.

Love ING! I just opened a 12-month CD at 3.3% yesterday. I've earned a good deal through their $10 bonuses, too.

I have to say that I do love ING. While I know that their rates are usually a tad lower than other sites, the fact that I can have my checking and savings through them is great! So even the money sitting in my checking account is drawing great interest rates for a free checking account!

I love my ING accounts, too. In fact, I even influenced my church to open a business savings account for the savings. I know they can't transfer it back to their checking account quickly and that it's earning more interest than it was at our local bank.

I thought I read in the terms that the $25 bonus was limited to one per household?

                              If so, it's not enforced.
