WOW, USAA moves fast!

I mailed off the paperwork to transfer my ROTH IRA to USAA the beginning of last week. I logged in today to find that the transfer was already complete. Impressive!

hi usnavy 233, this effect can usually be attributed to the place where the money was at originally...they can be slow to release the money if they want to be pokey about it and many do, others operate at a quicker speed to release the funds to the new asset administrator. The speed with which your transaction occured is fast though!

That makes good sense. In that case, CGM moves fast! Either way, I'm a happy camper that the process only took two weeks.
